Oppidan Studios’ first capsule collection made 100% from recycled material. Inspired by rave culture and the free party scene. It imagines a community that survives a movement that shook the world to its foundations. Moving back to a more primitive way of life, each figure assumes a role and responsibility, like one would in a tribe. A story of sounds, sentiments and textures.
Turbulence, chaos, words unspoken. Distant memories and fragmented instances of bliss. Ignorance and certitude, unanswered questions. The desire for something more than emptiness and ecstasy. Broken glass, needles, deafening frequencies, the masses moving. The bass beats, on repeat, the sirens sung and the mass dispersed. We want to live free, free from authority.
